Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films along with a handful of Malayalam. She received an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu movie Mahanati. Other awards she has won comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her first acting experience began at the beginning of 2000. Her first big role as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) which was an Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of numerous Tamil films simultaneously. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film was not an immediate success in the box office. To fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had been working on for a while. These comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. As a result, she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet announced, it is reported that it may be sometime in September of 2020. Subsequently, the premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja which starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay.
